Feel like guys practicing vs leaving team is based on NCAA enforcement actions. Remsburg is practicing because NCAA has determined his penalty less than full season. While we had Lee and Brock leave team because NCAA punishment was permanent ban.Interesting quote in there...
"A source with direct knowledge of the situation also told The Des Moines Register that quarterback Hunter Dekkers and tight end DeShawn Hanika haven’t yet started practice."
Did I miss something, or is there any expectation they ever will?
naturallyI’m fully prepared for his suspension to get reduced from all season to just one game, and he’ll be back for the ISU game.
from everything i can see, it appears to beThat's the first official NCAA action to come of this, isn't it?
Yep I'm with you. Kirk the whole time has been pretty spot on. Campbell is playing it smart and sticking to the script. Kirk has the tenure and ability to come out and say this is all just messed up and out of control!10000000000000000000000000% with KF here (its hard for me to say that).
Don't forget the 2nd team jock strap holder.Walk-on 3rd team ball washer and BF's substitute play diagrammer.
Yes, and the NCAA knows who scratches its back. He's spot on. If it's a serious enough infraction that you justify suspending someone a year, or even eliminating their eligibility all together, then I'd expect the NCAA to be coordinating with sportsbook and law enforcement all over the country to investigate. But instead they are only picking it up because we happen to live in a state where the DCI is apparently underworked enough they need to investigate petty, victimless crimes.
Compliance got jokes now
