It’s clear at this point the OC doesn’t matter. Campbell is running the show. I get it’s a freshman qb, but wow how stubborn can you be to constantly run the ball up the middle on first down thinking it will eventually work. If you don’t have the players, get creative and put them in winning positions. If KU can do it, why can’t we?

Maybe they just aren't very talented.

The QB isn't supposed to be playing.

A true freshman is getting snaps at RB who probably wasn't supposed to be playing.

The line is average at best.

The receivers are horrific.

The tight ends are probably the best position group because they don't necessarily do anything good but they don't really do anything bad either.

We don't have any unit that you can play around. You're just hoping to not suck.

There's a level where the Xs and Os don't matter if the Jimmies and Joes aren't there.

Iowa and Iowa State have the same problem on offense. The HC.

I see the pieces there but we are missing a bit with the receivers and aren’t putting the rest together. I think as we get to Big 12 play it will be a lot better as their defenses are significantly less disciplined. Until we have multiple years of consistency on offense we will struggle against Iowa.

Yeah...it's almost like they lost their 2 top skill.position players to gambling probe.

Leipold showed up in Lawrence and scored 40 pts pretty regularly with largely the same players from the previous years shot teams. Scheme matters so much more than players.
