Honestly, encouraged moving forward. Roco will grow, Norton and Sama looked good, FG goals were good and D was solid. Iowa is a no mistake team, we had two big ones (blocked FG and pick 6) and that’s the difference. Not too mention the drops

That whole 50ish yard run off tackle wrote the book for Iowa's offense.

It was a threat at any time.

Our coach is no longer hungry, feels absolutely no pressure to win, has no sense of urgency during games, and doesn't understand the importance of the in-state rivalry game.

Sunshine pumpers will keep bringing all they got because so many refuse to see that the CMC moment has passed, and now he is just cashing checks.

I saw nothing to think this season will be any different than the last. Same stupid mistakes.
Mistakes? What do you expect when our best skill players (at QB, RB, WR, TE) are basically freshman or 1st year program players? Minus the pick 6, we played a pretty clean game all around, played a style that kept us in the game. Stay healthy on D and progress on O, I think we’ll be fine.

I hate to say it, but ISU won the 2nd half. We just spotted them too many in the 1st half. The poor clock management was the only thing that leaves me SMH. I thought the players gave a great effort.

Hope you enjoy watching a running game on first and second down and third and long! Offense is so damn predictable it’s disgusting. Unless we can win 13-10 it’s going to be a 3-4 win season.

While I don't think CMC is in just cashing checks mode, I do think this program has lost all momentum since the Fiesta win. And I think getting that back anywhere is hard, let alone at ISU.

I liked CMCs explanation for the clock management. It had to be done right. We don’t score that td, we had no shot. We had a shot, all you can ask for
