Not sure how they could fit him under the cap.

I feel bad for Hall. Lazard hooked his wagon onto a 39 y/o QB so he excepted the risk.
IDK. The Jets just beat a team considered upper echelon of the AFC. They fought back without Rodgers. With their Defense and skill players they might be just fine if Zac can manage the game right.

Might have to go with a two tight end set almost full time and mix up if either of them go out on a route. I'm struggling to imagine a quarterback that could succeed when he has to avoid someone within 2 seconds of every snap.

They'll be OK but now with teams game planning for Wilson things will go down hill.

Not exactly sure.
I guess the Packers get to settle for a second round pick. Unless they can try to claim that he played 65% of the eligible plays that he was healthy for.

I was less optimistic on an aging Rodgers being the savior they needed. In my mind last night takes them from a good chance to be a first round team, to a team that'll be in a dog fight until the last week for a spot.

They have a good enough roster and the right division to still be a threat.

Being a huge Packers fan and a fan of individual players, I loved Rodgers. He worse on me a bit the past couple years to the point I wasn't devastated to see him go, though still very sad. But this is hard to take. Despite his persona and ego, he's been a great QB with a really strong fight in him. To see him possibly go out like this is, in the world of sports speak, devastating. Add on that the Jets are basically the Cyclones of the NFL - and not just because of their roster - it's even worse.

The Bears made a superbowl not that long ago with an offense that was absolute dog**** compared to the Jets.

Of course that team had possibly the greatest special teams performer in NFL history who was effectively their offense, but still I'm taking Zack Wilson and the Jets weapons on offense in a heartbeat over that Bears superbowl offense.
