No question Campbell has brought a level of success to the program that it has never experienced. But:

1. He was able to do that partially because of the work others did before him.
2. There were definitely all kinds of warning signs of NOT winning in the margins and complete ineptness by coaches way before this year.

Any one that mentioned any of those things before this year was chastised by everyone else who had Matt's dork in their mouth.

Reminds me exactly of the Prohm situation.

This is one of those super awkward games where there will be zero highlights ...Tampa hit...sure...but nothing else

Much of the blame here belongs to Hunter Dekkers and the other gamblers. Hunter would have probably taken a step forward this year in his quarterback development. Now we have to break in a new quarterback for the second year in a row. It would be great to have Jierhl Brock in the backfield also. We need as many seasoned players in an otherwise young team as possible.

I honestly can’t believe how far we have fallen under this staff. They are getting totally owned right now.

Yeah I don’t know how many more of these games I can handle. Iowa State football is by far my favorite sport but I can’t hardly watch the crap. Don’t really get it because they’ve been horrible my entire life but this is just brutal

Lose this game and I’m not
Becht, for the second time today, has way more time than he thinks, and rushes a throw, costing us the potential for a first down. He panics too quickly.
hrs had plenty of time and several times instead of looking downfield he throws short or ran for half the 1st down yardage

Yeah he actually slid out of the pressure really well there but then rushed. He had plenty of time to set his hips and feet square to deliver a ball elsewhere.
