It’s time to clean house on the offensive side of the ball. That’s 100% what’s holding the program back the past 2 years. It’s a vicious cycle of playing to not turn the ball over, which makes every game close, which makes any turnover pivotal. How many games have we seen the D play plenty well enough to win (even if they give up a few more points), but the offense doesn’t put anything up?

Gotta open it up, deal with some turnovers, and try to win some games 35-28 rather than lose 20-14.

Campbell is done, but there’s a minimum of one more season of him.

He clearly doesn’t give a ****

Basically my feeling on where things are.

In an ideal world i'd love to give him the chance to turn things around. But college sports is a game of momentum. Too much negative momentum and it becomes irrecoverable, even if it takes another year or two for a coaching change to happen. There's something to be said for recognizing when there is an inevitability and making a change before things sink too low.

So this question is a hard one for me. Do I 'want him gone'? No. Do i recognize that may be the best thing for the program after this season? Quite possibly.

Georgia just ran a double reverse glee flicker. It didn’t work but at least they have the balls to play football and go
For a win. Unlike Campbell ball where we just run an 8th grade offense

Look, I know you don't want to hear this now but at least he is not as conservative on offense as Earle Bruce. Granted Bruce won 8 games before he was hired away by The Ohio State University but that 20-16 win at Colorado in 1978 was just a great example of how conservative that offense was.

Hahahahaha!

“The thing that’s going to be really exciting is now we’re going to find out who we are and where this thing’s going,” Campbell said. “I know we’ve got great kids and we’ve got a great coaching staff. I look forward to the opportunity ahead.”

You know, you've not shown that in a few years now...right coach?

This would be interesting and at least (for now) ISU is safe in the realignment game.

Kirk went 6-7 in year 8 and 4-8 in year 14. Firing Campbell during a rebuilding year would be a delusional thing to do. I’m glad Jamie runs our AD and not fans on this site

Your Captain Kirko comparison is actually a really bad one - especially since numerous Hawk fans want him gone and have wanted him gone for a long time now. He continuously underperforms in bar none the weakest P5 division in college football, and even that advantage will be taken from him next year. For the rest there's a certain apathy that's developed with Kirk because most years he performs just well enough to prevent his seat from getting too warm.
