I'm hoping I can get some cheap tickets later on if this keeps up, if I can get in for ~$5 each that'd be perfect.

His success here has earned some leash, and I will give that to him. I thought the problem with the offense was Manning and the old OL coach, and was hopeful that Campbell making those changes was a sign that he did too. However, we were duped. The problem was up to the top and he needs to make some major changes with himself if he is going to win my trust back.

It's looking more and more like his success was carried by Purdy, Hall, and Kolar and now he can't win without them. Looking back on those seasons, we really underachieved with the talent we had on the roster.
This plus Heacock. And that has been a concern even when we were winning. Consistently having that level of skill position talent at ISU just isn't realistic. And we clearly don't have any idea how to manufacture offense without it.

Collectively there were limits but yeah 9ish win seasons were certainly attainable.

If he doesn’t make massive strides next year to show he can build back up from rock bottom (which we’ve definitely hit), then I think he’s gone. He’s a good dude, but he’s just completely lost it. What irks me the most is we tend to score very late in games, but it’s only because the game is on the line and then he decides to spread the ball out. Playing the same, stupid set of short out routes and runs up the middle for 55 minutes is not working yet he keeps doing it every game. This is absolutely atrocious what he’s doing to the offense.

Yeah, there's no reason that ISU can't be the type of team that consistently goes to bowls (making bowls isn't a feat for P5 teams these days), and while there will be rebuilding years where we miss the postseason, you can match those years with years you go and get 9-10 wins.

What you can't do is miss bowls with regularity, or be absolute ******* in the rebuilding years and have only 1-3 wins and bottom out the conference. (similar story with what happened with Prohm, Pollard probably would have given him a longer leash had his down years not been *so* bad)

He needs to stop trying to be Iowa. Good defense, but boring, conservative, predictable, bad offense. We get better athletes, let’s use them.
