Did anybody else see the K-State touchdown celebration in the second half last night where they shotgunned air beers in the endzone together? Apparently they've done it previously this year. Personally, I like letting them have a little fun, but I know that it is against NCAA rules. How was that not a 15 yard penalty?

It's not really their RBs, it's their offensive line. That's the difference. Their backs are talented, so not taking away from those gentlemen. But their offensive line and scheme when run-blocking is light years ahead of ours every year.
If we had KSU OL we would have had multiple 10 win season the last seven years.

it is terrible if they missed it, but 10 players on the field is one of the dumbest rules in football. Who cares if the other team doesn't have enough players. play with 8 if all I care. having too many players is a different story.
I don't think it's a rule. Just bad coaching.

I would be real surprised to see Kansas and Utah repping the Big 12 in the conference title game.
Especially since Utah isn't in the Big 12 yet!

Yeah he conveniently left OU and UT out of the Big 12 trying to get a reaction. Nobody took the bait. Must be a little salty after the Terrapin beat down.

Yeah, I am OK with not playing WV this year.
WVU was only down 14-7 at the half against Penn State. WVU also ran the ball well on PSU, and stopped PSU's run game.

PSU threw a td pass with 6 seconds left to make the score 38-14. WVU had no answer for PSU's passing attack in game 1, but being able to stop PSU from running, nd being able to run on them, makes WVU better than Iowa at least.

Will there be 4 undefeated teams in it this year? It kinda feels that way.

It always feels that way in September. The Big10 East will be a mess with those 3 teams going 1-1 against each other. Georgia will probably go undefeated with that schedule. The PAC will eat itself with that many good teams. And Texas will be Texas and lose a random game or two.

No way there was 50k there. Hardly anyone in upper deck. Plenty of seats in the lower bowl.
There was over 50000 there at the start. WVU goes by actual butts in the seats when it announces its attendance.

it thinned out a ton bc it was cold, wet, and windy. A lot of posters on the WVU board said they had kids there and that their kids were just "done" by halftime and they had to bail.

it was also the 3rd straight home game, which is tough for many of the fans with kids.

50000 isnt good for a wvu game, and the look was bad, especially in the 2nd half. But WVU fans, many of them, want NB gone and refuse to support him. the Pitt game was a sell out though, and WVU beat Pitt. Call them fair weather fans, but we have an older fan base and not many want to brave the elements for a team that has had a historically bad last 4 years.

Living here in WV, I concur with the sentiment. For WVU what almost transpired against TTU would've been Rhoads/KSU repercussion like. Heck, even though they ended up winning, I'm surprised he wasn't take out back to the woodshed.

444K watched ISU vs Oklahoma St.

Looks like the team we got after getting rid of Texas has five times the rating as Texas. We got rid of LHN and got Prime. Not bad. Now if we get Colorado to keep him for a couple of years.
