That was a plus but on the abysmal side was the offense. Good first half followed by Iowa/Ohio like showing in 2nd half.On the bright side we have only given up 10 points in the 2nd half
Execution?ISU scored on like 3-4 of them in 2017 at OU and CFers are hankering for 'those days' every weekend.
Execution?
Better execution? They're beatable and a better matchup than OU.
They adjusted and shut ISU out from the early 2nd quarter that's a good Defense with one of the best Defensive minds in CFB. ISU surprised them with some new stuff it's coming along just young players.Ou has some issues defensively, we just couldn't exploit them enough.
Yes, listening on the radio... I will be interested in watching the replay, well, 1st half anyway.Well it was fun for a half.
The linebackers is what stood out most to me in terms of talent difference. OU is better across the board, but linebacker really stood out. Our guys are sloooow
That does put the 1st half into perspective, doesn't it?On the bright side we have only given up 10 points in the 2nd half
Yeah we don't have to pull out 15 guys from the portal but need to get a few guys to upgrade key positions. Use the Otzelberger model and go find guys at lower levels that fit your system.Yeah, It's not looking good for the future, as I think those guys are young as well. And the fact that we still have mostly the same O line that has struggled for like 3 years and no one has beat them out at their position. . .
Campbell needs to start hitting the portal harder. I don't think he's really trying. I know NIL hinders ISU, but I think even with that, we aren't seeing nearly enough movement there.
