Do you want the OP and this thread gone?

Definitely not an overreaction and is a legitimate question at this point. Question is do you want the OP gone, not will he be gone.

The offense should have started with play actions, bootlegs, and counters on week 1, let alone by week 3. Freshmen or not, D1 players should know these concepts. Not using them is a failure by the coaching staff.
Boy are you delusional about how football works. Yep, everyone just shows up from various high school teams of all different sizes knowing everything about football like they were a 20 year NFL veteran. Did you not notice Rocco's pick sixes basically lost the 2 early games ISU lost. Coaches are trying to protect young players from too many confidence crushing errors while they adjust to the speed/concepts of college football. 5 offensive starters were removed from the team after spring ball. That is a lot to overcome in limited time. The coaches were wise to play the long game and it is starting to pay dividends.

We should be SO MUCH MORE than a ******** 6-6 team. But if you’re happy, I guess you’re happy.

What does SO MUCH MORE mean?

Like win 7-8 games and be in a slightly better bowl game?

That is not how football works at any level.

You can know a concept but doing it at game speed is completely different.

People really have lost their ******* minds.

We’re still waiting @DarkStar
Waiting for what?

You to get some self respect?

Nothing about this season has shown CMC respects ISU as an institution, our traditions, or the alumni and fanbase.

Only concession I've heard from Campbell is he admitted he was coaching not to "Screw the game up" instead of coaching to win the game.

Listening to his post game interview, he still comes across as a condescending ass that has no clue what it means to be a Cyclone fan.

What DOES it mean to be a Cyclone fan? Because if you think you’re acting like one your perspective is way off.

He’s been here 7 years, taken the program places it had never been, and had plenty of opportunities to leave but is still here. At what point is he a Cyclone to you? You’re talking about him as if he’s Gene Chizik.

Your take on this is bad. Not much more to say about it.

If he keeps getting 6 season wins every year, he will be here for a long time.

The loses will be brutal closes, but we will have to live w that

Definitely agree that you're not gonna be able to run your full playbook in Week One or Week Two, but Campbell did also say he had to adjust to how he was calling games w/r/t coaching to win vs. not to lose. It's true that it's unreasonable to expect the full playbook but it's also true that he coached too conservatively at points early on--even according to himself.
