Couple of things, they were supposed to be out strongest unit O or D. There is no way we were 28th in the country on 3rd down, has been our weak spot all year.
ISU doesn't believe in putting pressure on opposing QBs. Wouldn't be fair.
Also, ISU doesn't seem to force a lot of turnovers.
Those two things are not in any way related.
Playing a former walk on and a guy who has no business playing p5 defense will do that. Cooper was missed tonight.
Good news (maybe?) is that BYU is losing to WVU 37-7
It was 37-0 to end the 3rd Q.
They had 30 rushing yards total at that time.

This team is not quite ready to be talked about as a prime time team yet. Good experience for them for the next time they get there. There WILL be more times for this team in the future.
This the team we knew we would get! D is predictable and secondary is overmatched. LB’s are below avg. D line did nothing and Oline was putrid. 5-7 as Texas and KSU will house is and we likely lose at BYU
I mean in fairness some of our teams in the past were so bad it was just running backs rushing for 10+ yards per carry so nobody needed to throw.
It was more in general terms than going game by game this season but I think you knew that.

I did everything I could. Sat in three different seats in the first half. Spent time helping my kid clean their room. As the second half started I left the house to pick up my other kid from their friend's house. When I got home I started making dinner - two separate meals, one for the kids and one for me. I ate in the dining room where I can't see the TV. After dinner I did dishes. I even wiped down the stove top. There was nothing else I could do.
Agreed but if depths is that bad behind the starters, not a great sign. I mean KU could have had 2 or 3 more massive pass plays that just missed.
I think the dude is just cut from a different cloth kind of like Campbell. I think he relishes the challenge at a non-premier school.
Scheduling Kansas for Homecoming probably seemed like a good idea at the time. IMO we didn't just give them the game, they earned it.
Seems like there were holes in KU deep secondary when Rocco could escape the rush. Always hate throwing 5 yard outs, too easy to jump the route for pick 6. Iowa, OU and KU.
