Who f’ing cares. The defense gave up 21 points to a very good offense. It’s a function of how KU plays. Run the zone read like crazy and hit the big play.

Your defense gives up 21 points and you should probably win most games in this league. Defense had some problems, but they did enough to win.

The offense in the first half was atrocious. It was the reason for the loss.
Me? I mean the offense wasn’t great but defense giving up massive passing plays is why we lost.

Agree, but Have you been to Provo? Don’t care if they have a 4th string qb out there, it will be a blood bath and is a must win.
They play very well at home and suck on the road. It’s also at 9pm

We leave that game with a loss, we could be in trouble.
It's not Bama, it's ******* BYU.....go win a road game against a ****** team.

Play well and limit mistakes, we'll have great chance to win....just like every week.

I know there wasn’t any pressure on Bean but our dbacks had some big issues. Too many missed assignments and were beaten way too much tonight. Something was way off with that unit.

KU is very subtle in how it consistently cheats.

So many of those wide open or big plays?

Either picks or push-offs.

Watch closely.

That said, Campbell lost this one.

ISU was completely outcoached, and it was all because good old CMC reverted back to form.

I feel bad for the players and fans.

Campbell's delay in adjustments cost ISU another win.
Amen to this. CMC melted on the big stage again. That first half was like a high school game plan on offense. Then 2nd half we called some great plays. I’m sure CMC influenced the first half calls.

Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Was Purchase being disciplined by sitting the first quarter? Did the coaches address this?

Guys and gals, if its not been said here on Cyfan in the past.... its hard being a Cyclone fan.

Team is young and Rocco is a baller. Beat BYU. Lets go to a bowl and spoil some **** for Texas!
While I tend to agree it’s tough to not be more cynical about things after 2021. That team was not young.

The ISU defense held KU's offense nearly 14 pts below their conference scoring average coming into the game. That should be plenty good to win against KU. So sad...2 weeks to prepare and the offense was totally not ready to play.
ISU's defense is a bit overrated though because of our offensive style. Our scoring drives eat up 7-9 minutes off the clock meaning each team gets fewer possessions during the game than most other non-ISU games. It also makes it damn near impossible for ISU to complete a 4th quarter comeback even when we have all the momentum like we did tonight.

Defense allowed only 21 points. Only TX allowed less points to KU than us. What do you expect? How many points allowed would be fine with you?
Who cares? Northwestern allowed 10 points and lost. Less points than we scored would be fine with me.

On a positive note: Nebraska lost and Colorado Buff dance team is getting a lot of air time.
