Even if you’re right, you need to walk away from the internet. Your argument would suggest you might want a new coach, and that’s a poor take. 5-4 is a good record for this team. Campbell is a very good coach.
He's become quite predictable, which has now lowered his ceiling.

I mean, he's a 5 to 8 win coach at ISU.

Like somebody said though, he's probably the same at Vandy, and a 10 and 2 coach at Georgia.

He's Ferentz in cardinal and gold.

Clones were favored by 3.

Very first drive, highly unusual review to undo the first down, highly questionable review and reversal on top of that.

I said "the fix is in".

Checked live betting app: line had moved from ISU -3 to KU -3.5.

Here you go. Clearly Noel never stepped out, but it’s also clear the official blew it dead (you see him signaling). He must have mistaken part of the diving Kansas player’s body for Noel’s foot.

That man's a professional referee.

You don't blow that whistle unless you are absolutely sure, which he couldn't be.

Incompetence or malice.

Was just about to post this. Wasn’t even close to stepping out.
Things like this are the exact reason officials are told to let the play run out unless they’re positive about the call, so they can get it right in replay. As soon as you blow it dead, replay is no longer available to fix your mistake.

What is Campbell’s record again as a slight (3 point or less) favorite, has to be terrible?

wow that’s a major screwup by the ref. you never blow your whistle unless you’re 100 percent sure because you can always go back but never forward.

Almost as if it was intentional..............

Big difference between the 3 yard line with momentum and the 31 yard line.

There are so many things wrong within this post but yes the game would probably have been different.
I would be interested in knowing what you think is wrong. I WAS being purposefully sarcastic, so we may be in agreement.

I'm not sure we could have won this game or that things would only go our way given a different outcome to that play. But, I know it would be a hell of a lot easier.

We have people on here that tell you you can't expect to get a correct call when you don't play well

Which is just absolutely stupid.

I can't just say that directly. I'm not wired that way.

Replay showed Rocco's knee clearly hit before the ball did from behind.

In fairness to Campbell, I don't know how he doesn't go even more crazy with some of the subtle screwjobs ISU gets.

Not resetting the playclock, making ISU waste a timeout when they are trailing in the 2nd half?

Ruling a kick return out at the 31 that went to the 3?

Personal foul on a sideline tap, and a toss at the edge that started inbounds?

This stat has been posted here before and it’s really, really bad. Part of it is a testament to the coaching job that he’s done that Iowa State plays in a ton of close games and is favored, but it’s just brutal to watch. Oftentimes those close games come down to coaching and execution, which we struggle at all too often

I've watched the replay of Noel's kick return at least 10 times and he most certainly did not step out. Right after they have a very clear replay that shows the angle from behind and its clear as day. Funny how they never showed that again.
Agree. I did not understand how they did not show that replay. Totally game changer to not get a TD there
