bought 4 6ers before I left Iowa. Wish I could be back to purchase more often as I'd love to have it as my house beer.

#1 reason a product "fails" is they couldn't keep up with initial demand..

#4 is also key to this IMO... There is still a LARGE portion of the fanbase that is uneducated/undereducated on the collective. We all, including me could do a better job to educate all fans on this.

Regardless, thanks for the reminder Blum to stock up

Just a reminder to keep hammering those places that dont carry it! Make them be a pest to their distributors, otherwise they will try to keep filling that shelf space with Busch light, Coors light, Mich Ultra, etc....I did that with a place in my small town, they had SWARM on the shelf, after a month they said their distributor finally had allocation. I would bet the SWARM beer is seeing the same issues, my local beer stop said they have sold one 12 pack in the last 30 days.

Am I the only fan who has a shirt and koozie but hasn’t had the chance to even try it yet? I’ve asked people to bring it down to KC for me but they always say they couldn’t find it.

Where they love the governor
I was referring to shipping specifically. USPS doesn’t allow it. UPS does allow it but adult signature is required. I have done it without following the rules without issue but I don’t endorse it (publicly)

Well if you fib on what's in the package, what does it matter?

If UPS has to inspect your package, they may return to sender it dispose of.

If USPS inspects it, you have much larger problems since they are a government agency.

Not exactly sure.

I don't let UPS inspect my package. I tell them that has nothing to do with what I'm having them ship.

Understand the frustration. Regardless of the circumstances and I certainly don’t know all the distribution complications, sales have dropped and we’re hopeful they pick back up as it can definitely help the cause in a fun way. Wanted to make that known. West O is working on spreading this in all areas including Omaha but people still need to purchase. Appreciate everyone’s support.
Well hard to buy something when you can’t ever find it. Had to go to Cedar Rapids to find it as it was never in the Des Moines area.

My guess is the reason for the sales is that people stocked up and now don't need more. Much like covid, selfish people over bought initially. Some probably don't really like the taste. Not my favorite as I'm a light beer guy. But I drink one each week to support

Having a light or IPA option would help for sure.
It’s literally a light beer

I have found it in West Des Moines, Ankeny, and Waukee, and I am not even from central Iowa.

That’s good to hear that you can finally see it around here. If you haven’t tried the Jack Trice beer from peace tree you should it’s really good.
Haven’t tried Peace Tree. Thanks for the suggestion. Mixing Iowa State 1858 Vodka, while watching the Baylor vs Auburn game tonight.

Update on availability of Ames Lager in Ames (as of late afternoon):

Cyclone Liquors - six-packs in the cooler.

East HyVee - none that I could find. The clerk didn't even know what it was.

Downtown Fareway - a few sixers (tucked in with CloneFest sixers) on an end-rack near the fruits & vegetables

West HyVee - with the Iowa beers in the side coolers (none in the walk-in cooler). The clerk asked me about it as he hadn't tried it.

Somerset Fareway - sorry, I didn't go there.
