Think all the sticks guys were covered. That is how defenses play quite often. They leave the guy who is short of the line to gain open and cover the guys who go deeper. I know we forget to do that a lot, but that is what other teams do a lot.

Yep. And it’s not setting up anything. And it’s not wearing them down. And it’s not establishing anything. It’s literally wasting downs. JFC why!?

Establishing the run is its own reward greater than victory.

no, there were guys available down field, Noel for example. I know it is chaotic being qb with everything in front of you and 300lbs dudes chasing you, but there was enough time for 10 yards routes
