I would sacrifice a chicken for that to be true but sadly we get Gabe 3pt shooting and Tyrus McGee defense instead.

I wanted him to struggle, both to help our chances and to say "his Pedulla oblongata is broken."
And that’s why it’s horrible to schedule all those cupcake teams in non-con. We have yet to have any good wins for the NCAA tournament committee. This will 100% cost us to miss the tournament.
Hope we get that backside late help taken care of before then or they will rain threes.

Bad nights from the ft and 3 pt line happen. It's a little concerning sure, knock down one or two more clutch 3s, convert on a decent number of the massive amount of FTs we missed and it's a different game. But to me the biggest problem is we need a fallback defensive plan when the other team can move the ball and make a 3. We are playing right into their hands with the high pressure trapping thing when the opponent is skilled enough to zip the ball around and have a number of guys that can bury a 3. It was a big problem last year and it looks like it will be a big problem this year unless some adjustments are made.
They could read up on some of Fred and Floyd's teams too with much more talent/ experience than this group.
Dropped down to 65th on torvik for O efficiency today. Ouch.
The worst part of this game was from the like 10:00-5:00 mark when we had chance after chance to overrun them and things like Tamin overthrowing passes to King or missed free throws happened repeatedly. Those are really frustrating and irritating things but they are very different than "guys literally cannot see the basket" vs. Pitt last year.
I’m not worried either. It’s one game in November. But I do want to see offensive improvement and our offensive approach against teams with a pulse looks identical this year as it did the first two. We have to get better to have the season that we all hope for.
Frustrating game, proud of the fight as always, but our FT shooting lost the game.
