They wouldn't get in over any undefeateds or 1 loss Oregon, Washington, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, or Texas.

Maybe there's a scenario where Washington wins pac 12 knocking Oregon out, Georgia beating Bama, Texas and FSU lose in title games.

That's a lot of breaks they'd need to go their way.
Assuming Washington wins today, the PAC-12 will get at least one in (either Oregon or Washington). UGa is in imo no matter what. Michigan will beat Iowa and be in. That leaves one spot for Bama, Texas, FSU, a potential 1-loss Washington, and then Ohio State. That’s the order in my opinion if all those schools have one loss.

What is Okie St doing? When did Gundy become KF? Running up the middle on 2nd and 3rd and goal?

OSU is in over texas by a lot, FSU is complicated now with their QB, bama has beat no one but LSU, and their loss is worse than OSU. Plus they will lose to Georgia.

Georgia, Michigan, Pac12, then it’s OSU or FSU. Texas needs a big win in the championship to move up.

Oklahoma State couldn't screw up an opportunity like they have today right? Is there any precedent for anything like this? :jimlad:

Oh I don’t agree with this. Texas will have a better best win by a lot and their loss wasn’t that bad. Plus the loss came a month ago whereas OSU’s will have happened in their last game (which for some reason has mattered with the committee historically).

Texas has bama as a win which is only 3 spots higher than Penn State, the Notre dame vs KSU is a wash currently, but the bama win gets worse with a loss to Georgia. OSU is also ranked 5 spots higher than texas and their one loss is to a significantly higher ranked team.

Texas has the huge advantage of winning against OU in the championship and then they have it.

Not to mention, Texas would be big 12 champ. I think they'd definitely get the nod over OSU.

It was at Bama though. They won’t be dinged that much if they lose to Georgia , which is definitely not a guarantee imo.

And as others said, this would be head to head vs Texas, not a TCU or Baylor
