Louisville falls to Kentucky, so that 1-loss ACC champion possibility is out. One fewer chaos option.

In the past, things usually seem to fall into place the last two weeks before the final CFP rankings. We’ll see if that continues this year.

If Georgia, Washington, Michigan, and FSU all end up 13-0, I don't see how any of them get left out. If one or more of them lose, then things start to get spicy.

I don't care if Oklahoma and Texas play in the championship. Who cares. It's the last time Oklahoma will sniff a championship in a while and I'm guessing Texas too.

I pretty much just assume brand names will get the benefit of the doubt.

I'm too tired to fight it anymore. That's just the world we live in.

I'm sure it has already been said, but if we were playing at home against BYU for a chance to go to Arlington, we would not have a half empty stadium. That is really weak.

This goal line ruling in Stillwater is making it clear to me - in the modern world of major-college video review, there‘s no excuse for not having cameras aimed directly down the goal lines.

Just from a geometry aspect it seemed clear to me the Okie State runner was short of the goal line when his legs hit the ground, but all the camera angles were from positions that couldn’t obviously overturn the call on the field. Whereas, if we just had a camera shot on the goal line …

I want OSU to pull this out. Have the big 12 give explicit instructions to the officials to blatantly screw TexASS in the championship game and have Yormak burn the longhorn flag at the 50 yard line after the game while giving the bird with one hand and a whorns down with the other.

I don't suspect I will get what I want though.

Washington playing like ass too
The Huskies losing today would guarantee the PAC champ, whether them or Oregon, would have a loss. It also means a maximum of three undefeated conference champs is possible for playoff consideration (no, I’m not counting Liberty).

Let’s assume Michigan goes 13-0. They’re in. Georgia is in if they beat Bama to go 13-0; they’re probably in even if they lose. FSU has got to be in if they finish 13-0; one loss, though, and they’re out. So, without a loss by Georgia or FSU, the committee’s fourth spot could be between a 12-1 Texas and a 12-1 Washington/Oregon. I know Ohio State is 11-1, but … really?

If Bama beats Georgia, I can see both of them getting in (because SEC rules everybody else drools, you see). Then FSU has to compete for that fourth spot with Texas/PAC champ.

Sadly, it has seemed OUT have gotten their usual friendly ref treatment much of this season.

Testifying
Bama makes an incredible play on 4th and then proceeds to play a dumb series.
