Great win and great season for a very young team. Look how Texas destroyed Tech and BYU took both Oklahoma schools to the wire. Played well in every big 12 game except oklahoma 2nd quarter in. What bowl now?

I didn’t think we would be in this spot, and really was worried about the direction of the program after the last two years plus the gambling situation. I am ecstatic that my doubts were wrong. This game tonight can define the future of Cyclone football for the next few years…let’s go win the bowl game and get set for a title run next year.

Sama is an amazing athlete. To be able to keep his balance while making moves and shedding tackles in those conditions is incredible. Then to be able to accelerate on top of it is really special.

This is a Matt Campbell tradition. We will lose this game and many Iowa State fans will say we kept it close. Close is not good enough. Campbell will say that we're young and fought hard. What a joke! I guarantee we will lose to KSU

Was telling my wife before the game, it’s a misconception that sloppy field conditions means low scoring. It usually means big plays. A lot easier to deal with bad field conditions as an offensive player vs a defensive player that has to see and react.

I don't think a coaching change is in the cards yet, but I don't think it's that crazy to want to talk about it. I really like Campbell and understand this is a "rebuilding year," but it's not like we really cashed in the last time we had a group of battle-tested seniors. We should fare better with Texas and Oklahoma heading East.
