Damn, I was too focused on the run. That block is almost prettier. That kstate defenders head snaps back when he gets planted ten yards down field.
Sama is rightfully getting most of the attention but what a great game by Rocco.
Got me thinking about Kohl in the off-season. We have a starting QB in Rocco and Kohl would have to become NFL good to beat him out. Rocco's a RF so going to be around awhile. I have a feeling one of ISU's most highly recruited players may never start a game for us. Even sicker he'd be a perfect fit at an instate school I'm not mentioning if he hits the transfer market.

Technically every play can go 70 to 80 yards. Just run over the "red zone" and it will be much more efficient.I’m disappointed in the offense tonight. Not once did they get into the red zone.

I also think there is a pretty good chance that the Iowa football program will be in decline in the coming years. I have very little confidence in their admin, the "Kirk Ferentz" and "Hayden Fry" era/line appears to be finally coming to an end, and their schedule is about to become much more difficult. They could become a doormat.
ISU needs to take advantage of this opportunity.

Just watching KCCI news this morning. They don’t show a single highlight of the win last night. They talk about it, and show some stats. BUT….we got highlights of the Michigan game and video of an interview of Kirk Ferentz. Man does out local news suck. Oh, also as i type this, we get video of Drake and also Grandview. But no video of ISU.
Still a doofus I see.
Baylor, TCU, Cincy, and BYU — no one KNEW we were actually that much better than until we won and kept winning though.
I thought Kliemans face covering showed weakness in the elements. It was a tell.
