Until the people breaking the rules are actually penalized (Just look no farther than what Kansas/adidas/Self...Michigan, Texas...so many other bluebloods have done over the years to gain more advantage...looking at you SEC too), most schools will never compete for pay for play...i.e....NIL. They may be offering x amount of money that is now above board....wink wink, but who knows how much money in the bag that is never going to be on record. So if they decide to make everything even for all D1 as I see some mention and have read elsewhere, until the cheaters are actually punished harshly, they'll just go back to handing more monies off through bagmen... Until there is a market correction and actual punishment, this is going to be the wild wild west forever. Maybe the donors at these big schools will see the return isn't there at some point...who knows.
