230 total yards between the two games. 11 first downs and 7 turnovers.

They are an absolute fraud.

Only two ranked teams they play all year and are completely exposed.
Can you be a fraud though if nobody thinks you are good to begin with? I think everyone in the country has caught onto the Big 10 west scam by now and they've surely heard jokes about Brian Ferenrz and their offense.

Not worth my time or energy to mess around with Hawk lovers like NoCreativity.

Alabama's loss is better than Texas' loss. Change my mind.

It takes some monumental levels of nonsense to think "having a better loss" trumps head-to-head.

There's a reason the first tiebreaker in any ranking system is head-to-head.

Normally those aren't available in college football between conferences outside of repeated rivalry games (e.g., Iowa versus Iowa State, Florida State versus Florida, USC and Clemson, etc.).

But Alabama and Texas serendipitously is available this season!

Texas > Alabama

It would be appropriate for the Committee to give the ACC or Big 12 one last screw job on its way out, though. That would be very on brand for them after all these years of SEC/Big Ten favoritism.

It’s gotta be
1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Florida State

The regular season has to mean something
I hope so, but I can't see them leaving the SEC out, too much money involved and it would look bad for the spot when they are supposedly the super conference.

Give me Washington, FSU, Michigan, and Bama/Georgia. I get that Texas beat Bama, but Bama just beat the #1 team in the country while Texas beat a 9-3 Okie State team.

Easy thing to do is just do Bama, fsu, Mich, wash. And just say Texas was 7th so the head to head never came into play. They just going to ignore Texas has the best sos in the country.
Bama was 8th.

4 power conferences

Divisional playoffs
4 from each conference make the playoffs.

Then you get a conference champion from on the field play.

16 teams it only eliminates 1 week or adds 1 week.

Thought box process here
Because leaving out some of these teams is egregious.

FSU deserves to get in. I don't give a **** who's hurt.
Agreed. The ACC was agreed upon as a Power 5 conference. A Power 5 team that goes undefeated and wins their conference deserves to be in regardless of injuries.

1) Michigan
2) Washington
3) Texas
4) Florida State

Though I would say you can flip 3/4.

Agreed. Conventional wisdom makes me think most people would like to see Mich vs TX as a final.

You could also flip 1/2

I'm less concerned with "seeding" considering it's all neutral-site games.

Not like it's a long tournament either. Two games and you're the champion.

That the right four get in is the important thing.
