The dude (2?)who tried to throw the ball off Milan’s back and ended up throwing it out of bounds by mid court.
3 beautiful passes around the 3 point line, where each player turned down a decent look for a better one.Yeah, and IIRC, that was at the end of an offensive set where we were moving their defense around at will.
Somebody gave Fran some xanax before the game or something. He was not his usual spaztastic self. This
It was glorious. The best moment was when Gilbert scored in the paint, Lipsey stole the inbounds pass, and Gilbert immediately hit a three. Timeout. Juicy Wiggle. The place just went nuts.Legit happy for the crowd. Ames can get way up for a big game, regardless of sport, but we know sometimes it doesn’t end well. That ass beating had to be amazing to see in person.
To be very clear, I give zero f**ks how much they cry. I actually enjoy it.Who cares? They had o a full court press.
I will admit I was one of them, I figured EIU would come out and light it up from 3, and ISU would try to get into a running game with them.I like the part about how some people on CF (who shall now remain nameless) had a "bad feeling" prior to the game.
Cue the Superiority Dance.
He looks like another in a long line of undersized and slow douche bags to play PG for Iowa.Is it just me or does Brock Harding kinda look like Tom Hanks little buddy from Big, found his own Zoltar machine?

Really? I was on radio only. Amazing. If Fran would have pulled his we would have pulled ours I bet. He kept them in and pressed until the end.
Other than Sandfort’s ability to shoot and make open shots, that Iowa team is a ******* mess. I didn’t see more than 2, maybe, 3 D1 players out there tonight. Maybe our defense was that good, but I don’t know. They were just straight up ass. Their PGs look like they should be playing for Coe or Wartburg or something. Been a minute since I’ve seen an Iowa team that completely inept.
Pat McCaffery’s reaction to Milan’s corner 3 toward the end of the first half. Completely helpless.
I think my favorite part came from the post game show. Keshon said before this the best crowd he played in front of was a road game in the Mountain West conference. It sounded like the crowd tonight really meant a lot to him.
