He was benched a few games into the season and only played later when Black got hurt in one game. He regressed every season after his freshman year. He was absolutely awful his junior and senior year.

Nothing screams update your information like a rivals profile showing him at 5'10" and 141pounds getting a Big 12 offer.

This makes me want to start a discussion around most hyped/“excited for” recruits that never did much for ISU.
Honestly, most of the ones off the top of my head never panned out.

Number of players in the portal doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad thing. I think most of the guys who hit the portal did for more playing time down a level. That’s better for all parties.
