I’m going to be irritated if this is the year they name a non QB MVP to make a point.

I say it weekly but THIS IS JUST SO MUCH FUN. I never thought he’d keep playing well after one game. And I thought he would come back to earth in year 2. And then I thought he was done after the losses. But he just keeps on getting better. No QB has played better so far this season. End of sentence.
This time last year, I was just hoping he could string the successes together long enough to solidify a career in the NFL. He's clearly done way, way more than that. Certified star.

I'd be fine with McCaffery

Dude has been a beast
Yeah, it would be hard to argue against McCaffrey if that's the way it goes. Once a skill player crosses the 2000 yards from scrimmage mark, they're usually in the MVP conversation. McCaffrey is probably going to end up with 2200 or so and maybe 25 total TDs. That's a pretty stellar season. He and Brock should both be strong contenders.

In my opinion, the 3 MVP finalists should be Brock, CMC, and Tyreek. It will probably end up being Brock, Dak, and Lamar, but Tyreek and CMC have both been outstanding this year and are more deserving than the non-Brock QB candidates.

I’m almost surprised Tua hasn’t gotten more run.

I just want Purdy with win the Super Bowl so we can all watch the movie about it over the next few decades.

I've thought about that lately too. He's been one of, if not the biggest story of the NFL this year, but there is definitely another level he can get to if they can make a super bowl run.

If I was an outsider I would vot Mccaffrey. As a Clone fan I am wanting Brock to take it. Christian probably deserves it though.
I still think Brock deserves it over CMC. But that is because I believe that San Fran would have a better record if they had to roll with Brock/Mason instead of Darnold/CMC

CMC and the running game opens things up for Brock.
Brock and the passing game opens things up for CMC.

The only way I'd see CMC winning it over him if Brock was just doing a serviceable job, like Tannehill/Henry in their better years. Obviously not the case this year, his numbers are up there with anyone in a year where there are some offenses putting up big numbers.

I know we'll talk it to death here in the next few weeks but honestly if SF just takes care of business the next few weeks, especially Baltimore, I think he has the MVP by a mile.

Can't wait to hear what the national Dak fanboys have to say today. They will probably blame the Cowboy defense for sucking so bad yesterday that Dak didn't have a chance to run the offense. Not his fault.

The best thing about the Purdy/McCaffrey MVP debate is that each player has stated publicly that they believe the other player should win it. That's when you know you've got a special team with selfless stars.

Shanahan and Lynch should be buying Purdy a really really nice Christmas present because Brock saved their bacon after the Trey Lance debacle. GM's and head coaches usually don't survive mistakes of that magnitude. So it seems a bit unfair that they're spending the holidays in their multimillion dollar homes while Brock is sitting in his apartment with his roommate. But Brock will get his payday, provided he stays healthy.

Came here to post this. I would love for Brock to win MVP, but I'd rather him get a super bowl and the SB MVP award. It'll do more for his career and long-term. I really think the race should be Brock, CMC and Hill in no particular order. They've all had amazing seasons. Dak played his way out of the race last night proving he can't win the big game, like Romo. My fantasy team shows it, he played well all season, and took a dump when I needed him.
CMC and the running game opens things up for Brock.
Brock and the passing game opens things up for CMC.
Yep, thoughts came into my head the moment I read your post. Agree, they benefit each other. Kind of like Kittle too.
