Very reminiscent of the early September Cyclones, tbh.

And I get that this time has wildly exceeded expectations for this year. Which is great. I applaud that, but there are some things that repeat that is just frustrating. And yes, I will get over it and come back ready to go next season.

Personally, I just don't care about a bowl game against Memphis in Memphis. Would it be nice to win: sure. Are the extra practices nice for setting up next year: sure. Is the result meaningful? Not to me.

Then again, I haven't watched any post season cfb this year. It feels kind of meaningless with all the players sitting out.

That might be the case, but recruits still watch these games. These games still count in the record books as W or L. Development either becomes evident or clearly lacking. They may not matter in the big picture, but hell you could say that about anything.
