So predictable. Why is icing the kicker the norm? Gives a kicker a practice shot
Icing the kicker worked one time in a pro game 20 years ago. Can we just stop with this dumb tactic? Giving the other team a practice kick is counterproductive.

If I had one minute alone with Matt Campbell, I would drill him the entire to time to STOP ICING ******* KICKERS. IT DOESN’T WORK!!! And just like then, it often costs you points instead of saving it. Ridiculous, terrible coaching in the first half

Good lord, the more I think about that fake kneel the angrier I get. Sure, it was tough to see who actually had the ball, but the entire ISU defensive line just stood up and watched when the ball was snapped. Play the game, my dudes! There was still 35 frigging seconds on the clock!
Can only hope Heacock can neutralize this QB in the second half.

That is a really important factor here. Their coach has called a good game, but how in the heck is Memphis allowed to play on their own field. There should be a rule preventing such a home field advantage.

One weakness from the Campbell years is to give up a score and the momentum at the end of the half. How many times have we seen this through the years?
Yep, terrible play call by Memphis only bailed out by a horrible tackle attempt/lack of contain. Half was over with anything other than complete failure on that.
