Does any of that matter? I don't care if they were playing at my niece's wedding dance for sh!ts and giggles. Zero yards is embarrassing.
Just want to post on a couple of other posts I saw during the game. I saw a couple of times, "We are getting worked by a less talented team." or, "We are the more talented team, but getting beat." I don't know. I think you could pick a couple of positions and we have better talent there, but over all, I would take either of their lines over ours and their linebackers played really well.
What it comes down to in my opinion, neither of our lines, D or O are even close to D1 level, let alone P5. We got absolutely worked in the trenches and when that happens, it doesn't matter what your other positions do.
I think the Dline was better than the O, but none the less, the only impact either had on the game was negative.

And arguably the best linebacker was a walk on for most of the year and played class A football in Iowa.
All you need is a nice day and ISU can sell 40,000 tkts. To fill you need acceptable weather, a decent opponent, and a team fans are excited about. That's why the only mbb game not sold out is the last one of the season.
There is always at least one. Extra points for the face paint on someone that is all of 60 I'm guessing.
I'll reply to this. I've seen this comment a lot, specifically about the LB's.
I'm not too impressed with our LB's either. Is it the scheme, or do they seem like they just stand there and wait to be blocked or run around? Not all the time but enough to notice for gad sake.

Can you imagine the entitlement, the audacity, the pomposity, the plain ole 'Iowa is just better attitude' it takes to even dress this way and go to an ISU game?
