Im quite pleased with the defense. Offense is struggling as expected but I’ll take a one score game for a change against bama
It's meant more a tongue and cheek comment on the SEC lack of academic consideration. Those guys are freaking monsters.

I agree Michigan D is holding their own nicely, but they look noticeably outsized across the board on some of these replays. Which would reflect the discrepancy in recruiting rankings generally.

You get the sense that these teams are incredibly similar, but Bama’s tougher schedule has given them more confidence in tight situations. MI didn’t have to play with on-the-field adversity or from behind and I think it’s showing.

Georgia looked pretty similar to Alabama for much of their game too.

I think Georgia, Michigan and Alabama all have a lot of talent on offense but none have the greatest scheme and execution. Splitting hairs but when talking about a national championship it matters.

If I was seeding an 8 team playoff myself I'd have no problem with Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State or Washington all being seeded pretty much equally. Nobody seemed significantly better or worse. I don't include FSU in that group of equals because of injuries and comparatively easy conf schedule. I don't include Oregon because Washington beat them twice even though all the talking heads were certain Oregon was magically better.

I think they said when AL took the lead in the 3rd, that this was the first time MI trailed in the 2nd half all year. Woa.

That mid-range throw has been there all night but MI hasn’t gone to it until now.

Michigan gonna get 6 here, once these Harbaugh teams start rushing for chunks it's tough to stop.

Might come down to Alabama's next possession if they can have a sustained scoring drive.

I really didn’t want this game to be good because of the participants. But it certainly has lived up to the hype
