To be fair, the interns were beyond terrible. Understandable yet still very funny.

I will say the intern they had for the NH game seemed like more of a natural - seemed more comfortable and less nervous than the other girls.

Way up there
He has a unique perspective being so fresh out of playing, I have always liked him, he's not Fran but I like him more than the other guys that do Big 12 games. The only gripe I would have is, since he is younger, he has a personal relationship with a lot of the players from the Texas schools, especially Baylor and he doesn't always hide it well.

I think it may have been one of the early games this year where he actually made a comment on the air about ISU fans being hard on him on Twitter. I had a good laugh at that.
He didn't realize that that's just the way we are to people who don't live up to our exceptional standards. ;-)

One good thing about ESPN+ games is that it makes it easy to sync with Varsity radio to hear John and Eric.

King struggled his first year or so. But last year he did a solid job.

Early in his career, I felt his PxP guy pushed King's Baylor experience on listeners to build up King's credentials. Which led to Baylor Basketball stories. But over time it's gotten better and he does a good job of being knowledgeable.

I've never gotten the hate for him honestly. He typically knows what he's talking about.

He's no Fran Fraschilla, but who is?
He’s fine. He’s in that Devin Gardner/Robert Griffith category where they’re finding their way.

As long as he doesn’t say “no doubt about it” 30 times I’m good with him.
During the orlando tourney, my brother in laws and I played a drinking game where we would take a drink every time McClure said no doubt about it. To this day, I don’t remember the second half of the VCU game

I honestly like him.

He was really rough at first, but he’s really polished up, and his first hand Big 12 knowledge is heads and shoulders above most other color guys. Him having played all those years in the league gives him a more interesting, and realistic insight into the conference.
This is the reason I so wish Naz had gone into media. His knowledge of the conference mixed with his ability to work a mic would make him great at the job.

Still time after his European career too.

Hmmm. I guess I need to learn how to have dual-radio to match my picture-in-picture for tonight's games.

Think it helps he has been graduated long enough that he hasn't played with or against any of these guys. I feel like in the past whenever he would insert an anecdote from his recent time playing, he would tend to carry on and it was very boring and seemed a little too "look at me, I was a Baylor men's basketball player". I just feel like maybe the bias has come out a little bit, which helps a ton.
