Road life in college basketball. These guys will be fine. We don’t win a lot at OU even with some of our better teams. Winning down there last year I would have been shocked had we got this one, as history says we wouldn’t. Had a chance which makes me feel better about them. I thought there was a chance we wouldn’t be very competitive because of the non-con schedule.

I know it’s going to happen but please try to not get so high and so low in a college hoops season. Especially on the road.

Marquette lost at Seton Hall and FAU lost at Charlotte today. Let that sink in.

Watson and Ward disrupted stuff very nicely, both earned more minutes
Yeah I think just athletically, we have to see those guys more to compete. Ward just got back, so I assume we will see him more.

We were OK in noncon but aren't probably going to be as good of a 3pt shooting team in conference play. Need to get that fixed and we're in this one.
We really struggle with tight face guards by a lengthy team.

They haven't shot 19% from 3 for the year and they won't for conference play.
Of course they won't shoot that bad. But 30 percent won't cut it a lot of nights. Conf play a little different.

Other issue is how many wide open ones we give up.

I don’t know how it will land with this thread, but something that I have to say about TJ‘s coaching is that Porter was constantly just working the officials something tj doesn’t do and we maybe get some calls if he would just start twirling the officials more. He doesn’t have to yell but porter got a ton of calls because he was doing this
Fred never did it either. Nor did Prohm. It's an ISU thing

I love BRE, but he is a soft big. That’s just facts.

You have a deep hatred for me, and anything I post, which is fine. Life’s too short for me to waste my time hating on you. Have a nice night!
He's not soft, he's just not as skilled as sone guys. Bre isn't the issue.

In this league...
You HAVE to make 3s. I don't care how good we are inside...when other teams are draining 7 3s during the game, you HAVE to shoot better than 3-21 from the 3. We don't have to rely on the 3s...but we damn sure have to be more efficient making them.

I would disagree Fred was very good at it. If his team was getting screwed he would get a tech or would be on the officials at least having a convo with them. You don’t need to get a tech but it does swing a ride if you have those convos with the officials
