Voted for Brock, but he's a distant 2nd place right now. Don't get why any objective voter would vote for Dak over Purdy.
Voting Purdy because ISU obvs, but Dak was honestly amazing. He gets so much hate for being QB of Dallas Cowboys, but he didn't just slightly bounce back from leading NFL in INTs in 2022, Prescott absolutely killed it in 2023. Those stats don't lie. He also has Lamb, but nowhere near the weapons Purdy has around him overall. Purdy did win head to head though. Both are just so much fun to watch operate the QB position.

Purdy dominated the Dallas defense and Dak was dominated by the 49ers defense. Game was a blowout.

And...?

I pointed out Purdy won the head to head. It's a 17 game season. Not 1 week.

Dak threw for more yards & more TDs than Purdy. It's a passing "Air" statistics based award.
My point was that Purdy didn't just win the head to head vs Dak, the game was an absolute blowout.

If you want to talk stats, Purdy averaged 9+ yards per pass attempt, one of the largest averages ever recorded in the NFL. Dak finished a distant 5th. Purdy had a 63% completion rate on all deep balls, the highest percentage ever recorded in the NFL, and idiot experts said he's just a dink and dunk QB.

Purdy is the #1 QB on the #1 seeded team in the NFL. Numbers aren't biased, people are. If Purdy was the 1st round pick and Dak was Mr Irrelevant, there wouldn't be a debate.

Don't disagree on those other stats one bit, but more yards and more TDs by Dak has to count for something on a yearly award. Head to head win is fine and all, but Purdy also had a few absolute dud games too.

Dak was a 4th round pick. I don't think where they were drafted matters one bit at this point in their careers. All that matters is they're the starting QBs on their respective teams.

Dak also threw only 9 INTs on 590 attempts.

Brock threw 11 INTs on 444 attempts.

As you just indicated, Dak threw for all those yards and TDs on 590 attempts, while Purdy threw for all his yards and TDs on only 444 attempts (25% fewer attempts). Purdy was the more efficient QB, and it's not close.

However, Purdy should've had way less INTs due to less attempts, but he had more. Dak was more careful with not giving the ball to the other team.

It's really just what you as a voter value. People typically like more TDs, less INTs...which Dak wins at. Purdy won at efficiency. Both are great QBs, both deserve the award. But anyone on here who is saying it's Brock Purdy only by a landslide and Dak doesn't deserve to win...just didn't watch enough football this year. They were both elite.

One, FOUR interception game (Baltimore) eliminated Brock (2 perfectly tipped balls, falling into Raven's hands).
Cleveland performance didn't help as well. Thinking 2 ints.
He gave us clone fans, a ****-TON of unexpected joy/fun
