Even if the plane lands in DSM, they have to get to Ames. 511 has both 35 and 69 as travel not advised.

Only issue for the flight would be visibility at landing. As long as they have the minimums, shouldnt be a problem.

The bus ride to Ames is probably the one more likely to stop them-if they end up in a ditch or stuck in a pile up or something like that.

Probably will be a longer trip time than normal for sure.
