OSU getting 12 pts. I'm concerned that this is a classic let down spot for ISU. Just got over a emotional physical Houston game. Not a lot of juice in Hilton due to low attendance and the opponent. Hope we win but 12 pts is too much for me to lay.I was pondering watching the Nebby/EIU game last night what should be added to the metrics home court advantage when the game is played in a blizzard. I'm thinking at least double the normal home court advantage, maybe up to 10 pts. Especially thinking of Purdue/Nebraska and Houston/ISU as samples. Would we have lost by 6 to Houston if it wasn't storming? Very possibly.
Call it the Sicko Bump, if I were a gambling man (I am not), I would hit the home team hard anytime the weather is very bad.
Yeah, they kept bumping back the scheduled departure time by 10 min. Now, it hasn’t changed from 10:05 am.Assuming flight info from page 1 is correct, as of 11:00 OSU still hasn't left OKC yet.
I guess it's possible that we've been tracking the wrong flight but, I doubt itAssuming flight info from page 1 is correct, as of 11:00 OSU still hasn't left OKC yet.
I’ve never been concerned for an Otz team getting “up” to play a weaker opponentOSU getting 12 pts. I'm concerned that this is a classic let down spot for ISU. Some teams upgrade to a bigger plane in bad weather and given the flight history of OSU, I'm guessing they doI imagine there aren't many large charter flights traveling between OKC or DSM today. The only thing that gives me pause is, does a basketball team really need a 737 as opposed to a CRJ (or similar) with 50-100 seats? Maybe that's what was available, though.
No, as our follow up game is in Hilton. So the situation is the same for everyone?
Isn't that on peacock?Needs to be over by Chiefs game. For my personal viewing pleasure.
Per wikipedia, Hillwood's 737s are either a BBJ configurable for 36, 60, or 94 seats or standard 737s configurable for 60 or 100 seats. I'm guessing that they ARE taking a plane with 60 seats. Basketball players need a little more legroom.I imagine there aren't many large charter flights traveling between OKC and DSM today. That makes a lot a sense. Not seeing anything else plausible going to DSM, and no flights are scheduled at AMW today, so I'm pretty sure that flight is the correct one.Per wikipedia, Hillwood's 737s are either a BBJ configurable for 36, 60, or 94 seats or standard 737s configurable for 60 or 100 seats. As of 11am, according to Jamie steyer, Oklahoma State has not yet arrived. Their plane has mechanical issues this morningWe'll see if Okie State makes it to Ames. Regardless, GO CYCLONES!
