That swarm beer was in my top three worst beers I tried in 2023, and it has zero to do with it being associated with Iowa. I’ll save the brewing jargon but it should not have passed QA/QC at all.
Wells Fargo Arena has Swarm when will they have Ames @brentblum? Get free tickets from time to time to Wolves and Wild so I can spend my saved money on beer while I boo Luka.
That's a tough one since it is only sold in 12oz cans. Arenas only take the larger formats because they are dirt cheap. I'd imagine draft is a possibility at some point.
Swarm is garbage and my hawkeye buddies I watch pro sports with agree. They won't drink it. Exile really swung & missed with that brew.
They do think Ames Lager is pretty good fwiw.
Backpocket's Hawktoberfest & Clonefest are both good beers though.

So Hilton is the only d1 basketball arena in the state where the public cannot support the schools collective through a beer purchase
Also cannot buy Ames Lager South of I-80. Despite much prodding of Doll Distributing, the rep continues to tell my local Oskaloosa beer shop they ‘cannot get it’. I’ll have to wait until my next trip to Ankeny/WDM/Ames, the only places I can consistently find Ames Lager despite its ‘state-wide’ launch back in late August. How many more cases could be sold if they could get it on the shelf?

Probably none since production seems to be maxed out and they are pretty much selling out everywhere that they are available.
Agree. Swarm is ******* everywhere. Doesn't make sense at this point.
Amazing to see a lot more Prowl on the shelves than Ames Lager. Not to mention Swarm is absolutely everywhere. WestO just not getting the job done.
I worry west o was chosen not because they were best fit for ISU/WeWill but rather they were only brewery who said yes

agree. They have no control over ISU decision to sell on campus, i get that. Nor do that have much control over their distributors.
They do have control over production.
Why is exile able to produce tall boy cans to sell at WFA?

Swarm is gross, even my local Fareway in Adel has the Drake NIL beer. If West O needs an outside sales rep Im happy to help lol geez
To your point about distributors, there has to be a salesperson at WestO in charge of distributor relationships. The issue is either those relationships, production, or both.
