Sure Amy. Now issue your statement that you are well known as the worst evaluator of talent. And state that you are the brilliant mind that chose the Biggest Bust in NFL Draft History. There are competent football executives and then there is Amy. And she totally sucks. Not good.
She’s a former Raiders exec from 97-13. She would have no idea what good QB play looked like anyway. She was on a staff that willingly drafted Jamarcus Russell!

Never played a snap past flag football if that..Who listens anyway? I tend not to listen to people talking about something they've never actually done.
I think most QBs struggle throwing in the rain/throwing a wet ball. Purdy’s stats were better than Love’s. The Browns QB (granted he was a backup) were worse than Purdy’s.
I’d be curious to see some of the all time great QB’s stats during raining games
Even if I didn’t trust my own eyes, all I would have to do is listen to the opinions that come out of the 49ers’ locker room about “Purdy is a system QB”. Quite frankly, Purdy’s teammates, at least publicly, are far more offended by that statement than he is.
At this point in the season, those lobbing the “Purdy is a system QB” are either fools or trolls, and I’m done arguing with all of them. As far as fools, it’s as the old saying goes: “Never argue with fools - they bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” And as far as trolls, they’re looking to give the worst take possible because they’re addicted to the attention.

Purdy isn't perfect and has a few physical limitations but good lord some of the throws he's made would be worshipped by these naysayers if Mahomes, Jackson, Allen threw them ect.
The media LOVES to point out how good his supporting cast is yet there was little mention of him losing a huge weapon in Deebo not to mention overcoming Kittle dropping an absolute gift of a pass.

Brock Purdy is in the Conference Championship Game. For the second time. In his first two years. First NFL QB in history to do it in his first two seasons.

I’ll preface this by saying it’s dumb for this to work me up, but the negative comments I see under on any post out there praising Brock are infuriating. They’re not media people, just regular schmoes.
Where do these mouthbreathing, low life, negative people come from? Is it just rival teams projecting their own teams failures? Is it people looking for a rise? Are they just plain unintelligent?

The nice things is that the conference championship game is against Detroit, so either he or Monty will guarantee a Cyclone in the SB this year.
So I had to explain to my wife why some of Purdy's throws were so bad due to the rain. I think his hand size and grip strength are fine as the ball coming out looked good, but:
A: Gripping a ball tighter than normal without changing any other mechanics of the throw will slightly change the release usually by starting off causing the passes to be low then overcorrecting and ending up floating some trying to find that sweet spot.
B: With the anticipation that Purdy plays with (throwing the ball as the receiver is coming out of the break) timing is off as the receiver's traction isn't the same as normal so unless you normally rifle the ball in and don't depend on anticipation you will lead your receivers too much.
Hopefully he doesn't have to deal with rainy weather again this season, and over the off season works on gripping tighter at all times so it won't affect him as much, but the timing with anticipation will probably continue to be an issue in rainy weather.

Great points. I recall there was a timing play where Kittle was knocked off his route by the LB. On a clean break it would’ve been on the money and a first down.
