I don't think they'll disappear, but Jackson needs to be more selective when he attacks to hoop. Sometimes he gets eaten up.

He can still be a weapon from the outside though, and the occasional drive dish. How has his defense been? That's probably another point.

Next year he will be bigger and stronger, hopefully.
...not taller though. He needs a better outside shot.

I bet he plays but in reduced minutes
I just don't see part-time playing with a shoulder injury. Either it's healed enough to play and no risk of further injury or it's not. I'm guessing he doesn't play.

I'm All In on Jackson letting it fly from 3. He's got one of the more pure shots on the squad imo.
3 and D has a spot everyhere and he has the 3. We don't need him to put the ball on the floor at any point in his career, it's just a nice to have. Matt Thomas and 3sus didn't have an effective dribble drive until their senior years.

I think his handle is pretty good. Goes back to my comment about adding 10 lbs of muscle. I think he gets knocked off his spot when he drives into the lane rather than losing control of the ball due to his skills.

He seems to get overwhelmed physically at times including speed but also is still pretty stingy and tough to the hoop.

Imo he's underrated with the hands to grab boards etc.

He hit a 3 last game and that will be needed at other times.

Yep, first thing I noticed about his game when he was announced as a commit is that he was pretty effective off the dribble and in the paint. Just taking a little time to adjust to the bigger, stronger, faster players (and still not doing badly).

Shoulders can easily hurt for months and never heal until surgery or lots of time. There's always a risk of further injury. 100% is for the off-season.

I am NOT saying this is the case but it could be a season long situation, to some extent.

I'm hoping that the "strained" shoulder description means it won't be long term. I don't know that # of minutes played in a game is a factor. I would think he can play or he isn't ready yet.

But I'm certainly not a doctor! ;)

I haven't seen it in Big 12 play, seems too slow currently to beat people off the dribble. That doesn't have to be his game though.

I don't suggest playing him if he's not close to 100% but I thought about the program, are you hurt or injured?
