UCF got its first Big 12 win, 92-87 (OT) at home against Houston.

Texas thumped Cincy in Austin.

Tech beat TCU by 6 in Lubbock.

BYU and K-State in a tight one in Manhattan. BYU's post (Gustin) has 14 rebounds in 2.5 quarters.

Final from Manhattan:

KSU 67, BYU 65

Cougars had two looks at the rim and a wide-open 15-footer all in the last 10 seconds. Missed 'em all.

In a game that impacts top of league standings (current battle for 2nd) , Kansas over OU at the half 28-27. KU's Jackson doing her foul thing but added a fragrant.

And, Red Panda is their halftime show. Someone needs to research what the home team's record is when Red Panda performs. Gotta think the Red Panda peeps have those stats!

Heather Ezell's Wyoming Cowgirls are off to a great MWC start this year. 7-1 in the league after thumping Fresno State by 22 on the road today, now standing at 12-7 overall. They're tied for 1st place with UNLV.

Drake lost their first MVC game tonight at Illinois State. UNI won by nearly 50 at Bradley.

It absolutely amazes me that Kansas State continues to win big games after losing what might be considered their best player. They have moved up to number two in the national rankings. Congratulations to them.

New Ap poll has:

#2 Kansas State (overrated without Lee but I get the votes)
#11 Texas (about right)
#12 Baylor (too high based on how they have been playing)
#23 WVU (seems about right considering the weakness of the 20-25 bracket).

ISU fell out of the "receiving votes", no surprise there. OU is getting some votes, 6. The field is so weak that Princeton got #25 with only 28 votes.

We are 2-2 versus the Top 25 with three left (KSU 2 and @ Texas.

Iowa State didn't beat Iowa this year.
Your 7th message in almost 11 years - you Hawk fans slay me - the indignity of somebody suggesting ISU had a strong game plan vs EIU brings you out of hiding to "put them in their place". Thanks for your brilliant insight...

I fail to understand why Hawk fans flock to Cyclone Fanatic. I've never been on a Hawk board in my life because I don't care what they think about anything, but I guess CW benefits from the traffic.
