I’m gonna say that I’ll miss the obligatory Texas game on LHN every year. As a loyal clone that now lives out of state and grew up on Pete Taylor, tonight was the perfect opportunity to plug in and listen to a couple awesome guys call a great Cyclone win.

These days it’s too easy for folks like me to tune into a tv broadcast and tune out our fandom. Great call by the guys tonight and a great win.
It's not that hard to sync up tv with the streaming call on I-Heart radio or Varsity app. They are usually behind TV even if you are streaming. I almost always listen to John and Hefty.

Baylor would've been a much bigger win. Texas isn't great. Not sure what OP is smoking tonight.
Agree, but winning on the road against the program with the most $$ behind it, with one of your former players getting shut out, in the last game you’re going to play there maybe ever, feels pretty sweet. And as others have said, even when Horns have been Down, we still haven’t beat them very much in Austin. It’s a big win. Enjoy it!

Yep, UT usually has as much talent as anyone, but they don’t play like it until they get into a game with a “worthy” team. Well, we’re worthy and it didn’t matter

I got the pleasure of listening to the Texas broadcast on Sat. radio after my daughter's surgery to remove her tumor. God did they suck, whining about the play of UT the entire 2nd half. Finally got close enough to pick, up the ISU broadcast on the BUS to listen to the postgame.

Great win, going 1 and 1 this week was about as good as one could expect. We could have won both, but we also could have lost both. Take the win and move on.

Silly.
This was a big road win.
I think it's accurate that Baylor would have been a bigger road win. But this one was definitely big. Besides for Houston, it was the hardest road game left. Now it's mostly road games against the bottom half of the conference and home games against the top. Every game we'll be favored, except for on the road against Houston.

(And that's all ignoring the Texas factor.)

It almost feels like you need that big lead to win on the road or even at home. We really need to bury teams at Hilton if we're gonna have a chance to duplicate the 6-3 first half of season.
I have us going 7-2 in 2nd half. Probably at Houston and one other road game (2-2 on the road). Protect Hilton (5-0). Decent shot at closing out with 5 straight wins.
