You would have to be pretty simple minded/soft for that to work better than the **** he hears on field. If I were 6'4" 270 lbs DE I'd be talking mad trash before passing downs.Just had a thought about the Lee Harvey Oswald thing. Maybe I'm more than suspicious; paranoid.
Could it be that question was planted in an attempt to tip BP off stride, shake him a bit?
They also asked about his gameday wardrobe. The fix is in!Just had a thought about the Lee Harvey Oswald thing. Maybe I'm more than suspicious; paranoid.

This idea that the 49ers don't have a good defense is interesting, they were easily a top 10 defense, probably top 5 over the course of the regular season. What stats are you looking at? Purdy has significantly more yards. I think the QBR rankings are a good start. Purdy is first in both of those. Jackson is 4th in both.
The 49ers for as much talent they have haven’t had a good defense this year. Their line isn’t great. The Ravens are elite defensively.
The 49ers have been all around winning. The Ravens won because of defense.
It's probably overblown some but you can absolutely gouge them with the run game. This idea that the 49ers don't have a good defense is interesting, they were easily a top 10 defense, probably top 5 over the course of the regular season.

Are we still just looking at the regular season? Because I see only 2 bad games run defense wise, they gave up 100 yards only 6 times. Playoffs obviously have not been great. It's probably overblown some but you can absolutely gouge them with the run game.
How many fumbles did Jackson have?I'm curious to hear your reasoning. Not saying that I disagree, but I'm curious if you're basing this on data or feelings?
Because the data is pretty even between guys like Purdy and Jackson.
Similar total yardage
Purdy more passing yards
Jackson more rushing yards
Purdy responsible for 4 more TDs
Jackson threw 4 fewer INTs
The biggest difference is that Jackson was responsible for a significantly larger percentage of his team's offense than Purdy was, so I'm thinking that might go to the classic definition of "most valuable"
I think it could have gone either way, but I'm curious to hear the reasoning behind Lamar being "absolutely the least deserving" of the award.
SCAM Newton has clown takes with a clown hat. He wasn't that guy. Warren Sapp told him what's up.Anyone listen to what Scam Newton on First Take had to say today? I didn't get chance to listen to it just saw the replay of it during lunch but the place I was at didn't have the sound on. He still looks like a pimp.
I'm looking at the official NFL statistics.
Brock Purdy had 4424 yards from scrimmage (4280 passing , 144 rushing)with 31 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs and 11 INTs
Jackson had 4499 yards from scrimmage (3678 passing, 821 rushing) with 24 passing TDs , 5 rushing TDs, and 7 INTs.
I'm not saying that Lamar clearly deserved the award over Purdy, but I don't think you can say that he was a complete outlier, either. And throw in that he accounted for a larger percentage of his team's offense than Purdy did, and I'm not sure you can make that much of a case that he was the LEAST deserving of the candidates
Lamar had 4 more lost fumbles than BrockHow many fumbles did Jackson have?
He also runs a lot.Lamar had 4 more lost fumbles than Brock
Absolutely agree. I'm a huge believer in the idea that circumstances play a massive part in a player or coach's success. Not that they're a system specific player, but that the exact ingredients around them mix perfectly. This year or next year is probably Brock's best chance. So this year because they are already there. You never know on injuries, free agency, draft, team turnover, retirements. He has a perfect opportunity right now. The Chiefs already won a few and will likely be back many more times. So yeah that's right. Cheer for Brock and the 49ers.
