You would have to be pretty simple minded/soft for that to work better than the **** he hears on field. If I were 6'4" 270 lbs DE I'd be talking mad trash before passing downs.
They also asked about his gameday wardrobe. The fix is in!
In all seriousness, short answer: no. You’d be surprised at who get credentials to the Super Bowl media event. Could be a high school student who won a contest or scholarship type of thing where they get to go and possibly get to ask a question. An 11-year old (who is awesome) by the way has been there asking question for the last couple of years.
This idea that the 49ers don't have a good defense is interesting, they were easily a top 10 defense, probably top 5 over the course of the regular season.
It's probably overblown some but you can absolutely gouge them with the run game.

I'm looking at the official NFL statistics.
Brock Purdy had 4424 yards from scrimmage (4280 passing , 144 rushing)with 31 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs and 11 INTs
Jackson had 4499 yards from scrimmage (3678 passing, 821 rushing) with 24 passing TDs , 5 rushing TDs, and 7 INTs.
I'm not saying that Lamar clearly deserved the award over Purdy, but I don't think you can say that he was a complete outlier, either. And throw in that he accounted for a larger percentage of his team's offense than Purdy did, and I'm not sure you can make that much of a case that he was the LEAST deserving of the candidates
I think that comes from them struggling (relatively) down the stretch.
The big question for KC is can their tackles handle Bosa and Young? It's a case of the 49er strength going against KC's biggest weakness. Taylor especially will need to be on his game.
Usually Reid will call a game that baits the opponent into neutralizing it's biggest strength, ie letting Bosa get the edge and using Pacheco on the inside.
Anyone listen to what Scam Newton on First Take had to say today? I didn't get chance to listen to it just saw the replay of it during lunch but the place I was at didn't have the sound on. He still looks like a pimp.
Are we still just looking at the regular season? Because I see only 2 bad games run defense wise, they gave up 100 yards only 6 times. Playoffs obviously have not been great.

I'm guessing the main difference between him and Brock coming out of college is how QBs are evaluated. They both won with their non-traditional power school at a level nobody had before. An Alabama fan might shrug shoulders at Brock winning a Fiesta Bowl but for ISU fans it's our peak of 100+ years.
Even when Brock was at ISU I always thought he was like Drew Brees when I saw at Purdue. Who knows over a long career but for four years of college and 2 years of NFL they are most definitely very comparable.
Absolutely agree. I'm a huge believer in the idea that circumstances play a massive part in a player or coach's success. Not that they're a system specific player, but that the exact ingredients around them mix perfectly.
It's why I cringe whenever somebody says X coach or player sucks once they have a few bad years in the league, even if they had won the Super Bowl a few years earlier. It isn't that they forgot how to play football or coach a team, it's far more likely that the ingredients changed just enough or way too much for the same success to happen.
