Lost defensive intensity after getting up by 20. Understandable that at that point they might have started looking ahead. Scoring 82, 5 players in double figures plus King with 8, and all 9 who played scored.

28-0 points off TOs. 44-22 points in the paint. Really dominating performance.

It’s about damn near impossible to lose a game with that kind of advantage in the paint and off TOs unless there is an enormous discrepancy at the free throw line and/or someone is just red hot from three.

Think that would have been a much tighter game with Tech full strength but we continue to play really really well.

Sorry if already posted but think TJ is now 25-1 when we get four players in double digits. We get balanced scoring and we win. It seems to be that simple with as good as our defense is.

I remember a time when people ripped on Curtis Jones. He wasn't finding the hoop but was doing other things very well that are important.

Now he's found the hoop. That has to SUCK for opponents.

But there was a long, manifesto type post early in the season which basically was an infomercial on why CJ was a terrible addition who couldn't shoot and was terrible at shot selection, why did TJ recruit him, yada, yada, yada.

The guy might be the most important player on the team. He does a lot of things really, really well. And personally, I love his workmanlike game/approach. He's like an assassin out there.

Quite a workman like performance by the boys today. got out to the lead, held TT off and got a solid W. TT screwing around with all the fouling when the game was done sort of pissed me off especially the one with 7 seconds left.

Oh well time for the guys to get ready for a HUGE game Monday. Nice to see TCU beat the Mildcats. Houston defended home court handily.
It would be fun to win Monday but if we drop it in a well play gamed it is not the end of the world. Though the front page of CF will look like it.
