Dresser is usually not afraid to call out other teams shenanigans.

It’s kind of a badge of honor that ISU is the most ducked team in the country. Two top 10 teams completely folded and benched all their top guys when they had to face ISU.
His post-meet presser Sunday will be must see TV

Unfortunately, I don’t feel this way at all. The fact that the two-three starters that could benefit from a win will be going, and everybody else happens to be sick is too much of a coincidence.
Is anyone else concerned that the Tigers may not be healthy enough to participate in the Big 12 championship?

Yeah, didn’t think so.

Probably in the minority here but Mizzou has to actually have some real sickness.

I obviously can understand KOT, but the rest of those guys “ducking” makes zero sense, and KOT seems like the kind of guy who would wrestle Carr out of respect and for the sport.
We just don't know on the illness question but Surtin, Mauller, OToole, and Mocco could all reasonably lose to lower ranked Iowa State wrestlers and damage their seeding positions at Big 12s or NCAA. 141 and hwt(s) all ranked lower than us and, well, they showed up. 149, 197 doesn't fix that picture, however. Also, their coach said something to the effect that they're looking ahead to Big 12s.

Was o toole and those guys there last night at UNI?

Not from what I can find. Columbia is just over 4 hours away, though. I think it would make more sense for Mo. to not have their starters have 2 weigh ins, be fresh, and drive up Sunday. Would explain Elam. The real question is whether the team came to Ames right after the UNI dual.

Maybe they are playing a mental game with us. Everyone is let down, some of the crowd decides not to show up because a bunch of backups are wrestling. The team is not motivated because they aren't getting the guy they wanted. Then boom, the Mizz starters walk in at noon tomorrow for weigh in!!!

And it magically only impacted their starters?

I’m almost 100% positive Carr will get #1 seed at Big 12s so KOT is not ducking as there is no benefit. Big 12 seeds are base of off Big 12 matches and last year Big 12 tournament more than anything else (unless they have recently changed).

At the end, this will not benefit MO as I’m a big believer that you will not perform well with to long of break. This is one reason I hope Feldkamp wrestles tomorrow.

I hate what is happening in duals as much as anyone but unfortunately wrestling has created a “NCAA is the only thing that matters” mentality for wrestlers, coaches and fans.
