Adams is a bit of a different case because he actually does score. But he isn't a great rebounder and he isn't very efficient. He's basically just a garbage man.
It's just one of my pet peeves of listening to basketball commentary or coaches discussions. I understand why coaches talk about defense all the time - they usually don't need to motivate a scorer to score. But it's so over the top by some of these coaches and commentators that to a point is just nonsense.
The metrics still love the Badgers and think they are top 25. Granted, they have no "momentum" factor.
Not surprising. Relative to todays typical college team they have a lot of returning experience, so them playing well out of the gate then plateauing while everybody else improved at a greater clip isn't surprising.
They are a bit like some of the classic Fran fade teams at Iowa in the past. Bring back lots of key guys that have played together, come out hitting the ground running. Then when everybody else starts to figure out how to piece their team together they don't looks so good in comparison anymore.

-Rooting for Seton Hall over Creighton but Jays are up big in the 2nd half, probably not happening
-Rooting for A&M to knock off South Carolina - tie game right now
-Rooting for Minny to knock off Illinois - UI up 3 at half
-Rooting for Ole Miss over Bama - Miss up 3 at half
Also Auburn lost at Tennessee, but I don't think they will be penalized much for that.
