Who should be the higher projected seed?

Team A:
  • 20-7 (9-6)
  • 6-6 vs. Quad 1 teams
  • Five losses to unranked teams
  • NET #17
  • Kenpom #16
  • Torvik #10
  • ELO #12
  • BPI #16
Team B:
  • 22-6 (11-4)
  • 5-4 vs. Quad 1 teams
  • One loss to unranked teams
  • NET #8
  • Kenpom #10
  • Torvik #6
  • ELO #6
  • BPI #8
Team B easily. It's obviously Iowa State, not sure who Team A is.

Massive/noteworthy games around the country this weekend. Can't wait to just be lazy and just watch hoops all day...

#24 Florida at #19 South Carolina (11:00 am ESPN)

Villanova at Providence (11:00 am on Fox) - big bubble game

#7 Kansas at #15 Baylor (Noon on ABC) - Baylor will roll I think

#13 Illinois at Wisconsin (Noon on BTN) - Will Wisconsin continue their slide?

#5 Marquette at #12 Creighton (1:30 on Fox) - Go Creighton? Not sure...

#8 Iowa State at UCF (3:00 on Big 12) - Duh

Mississippi State at #11 Auburn (3:00 on ESPN2) - Go MSU

Iowa at Northwestern (4:30 on BTN) - MASSIVE game for Iowa but just as much for NW keeping double bye

Virginia at #10 Duke (5:00 on ESPN) - Virginia winning would be nice

#1 Houston at Oklahoma (7:00 on ESPN2) - Go OU

#4 Tennessee at #14 Alabama (7:00 on ESPN) - Game of the day probably

TCU at BYU (8:00 on Big 12) - Go...TCU?

#23 Gonzaga at #17 St. Mary's (9:00 on ESPN) - Go Gaels

Likely two starters out for NW. Just incredible the breaks the hoks get.

I give their football team credit for playing hard and being more fundamentally sound in earning breaks, albeit vs. bad teams.

But their basketball team falls ass backward into wins all the time including stupidity from opponents.

A few Big 12 teams should get to start in the sweet 16 every year.

Makes same sense as sec getting a football bye and way more sense than big ten getting a fb bye.

I like the idea, but I really don't want the tourney expanded past it's current size.

I know it doesn’t matter if we don’t win today but who do we want in this Baylor Kansas game?
The meteor.

But the way I see it:
BU beat KU today.
BU lose another game (@TTU, maybe?).
KU win @ Houston (barf)**
**Although I don't want to see this used as rationale for KU being a 2 seed in front of the Clones, if they do win this one. Am hoping this is the outcome in the faint glimmer of hope that we can still win the regular season conference.
