As an aside, I've long held that Bill Fennelly should teach the men how to shoot free throws, and I don't mean it as a put down of the men or anything.

It's just that free throws have been one of the things Fennelly's teams have been better at over his time here and the men have struggled with 'em at least since McDermott.
If our men could shoot free throws with the women's size ball, their average would definitely go up.

Women, in general, are better at free throws it seems. Maybe the stats aren't there?
It's not the only reason why, but the smaller ball makes a big difference in WBB. I (man) was an average shooter at best and I could shoot the lights out with a women's ball.

Being in semis of growing 14/16 team elite conf tournament really means something. 10 teams going home already, 12 next year.

My guess is while men are practicing dunks and spins and crazy double doozy layups. The women are practicing shooting and free throws and things that win games and maybe don't get you on Sports Center (if that is even a thing anymore?)

I have a whole theory on this that no one likes lol.

Gotta love these speechless announcers wondering what happened.
it was all talk about baylor for the second half until the end. except when ISU was trying to break the press and the lady said iowa is having trouble with the press. so to take so long to post was putting in a we will pizza

First time getting a chance to post. Emily Freaking Ryan. Taking her rightful place as ISU assist leader on a pass to Crooks to take the lead and on that basket Crooks becomes all time freshman scorer man or woman.

Listened mostly to radio and you could barely hear them although on TV you could hear the noise too.

Props to ISU fans down there YOU WERE AWESOME!
