Basketball is unpredictable. Good teams lose to bad teams all the time. This is K-States super bowl, so it shouldn't be a huge surprise we're down. Hopefully we have a good 2nd half in us.

I don't think that Kstate thinks that this is their superbowl, I don't think they don't see it like that. This is their last game in a disappointing season. Our turnovers and giving up off rebounds is giving them too many chances. Kstate is playing for a NIT berth.

I would love TJ just play Omaha today for a good 10 minutes just to give other players a rest for the main show in a couple of weeks, save the legs.

At this point in the season, 10 minutes off in a game would mean nothing

It amazes me how so many people don't give the opponent credit. KSU's half court defense has been good all year, and it's very good today. KSU's problem has been that they turn it over too much, but we're not winning the turnover battle like we normally do.

Lots of 'what the hell!? This KSU team sucks!' like they're Prohm's last team. They're kind of like WV with a better record where they have some guys but are just kind of discombobulated at the wrong times.

I also don't understand 'ISU should have ended this game when up 9' like ISU themselves didn't just come back from 14 down just a few nights ago.

Win or lose, I’m not kidding when I say that this team will get upset in the first round of the tourney. I got bashed for saying this last weekend but in reality it’s true. A 6th ranked team should have finished this game when up 11-2

Yeah, if we lose today and first game of the Big 12 tournament, I'm pretty sure we'll drop to a 3 seed. Not the end of the world. I just hope we can still play in Omaha.

I'm guessing you have little idea of how much energy these guys expend. We've had an incredible season because we have outworked our opponent every damn game. There's only so much gas in a person's tank and I'm afraid our warning light is starting to come on. We can still get the necessary rest, though. TJ will just have to back off them in practice.

All I said is that we will get upset in the tournament. The NCAA will pair us up against a high scoring team and we will miss our free throws etc and get beat. I hope we win and ku beats Houston!!
