Our only hope is that KOC is a great evaluator of QB talent.I don't trust Kwesi with running the Vikings draft. I hope he kills it this year, but I highly doubt it.

So if Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels were not in the draft, would you take McCarthy at 11?Not sure the 4th qb off the board is high end enough to be much good. Clearly it's possible, but not too exciting.
Drafting QBs is a complete crap shoot. Trading up from 11 to draft one is a fool’s errand IMO.So if Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels were not in the draft, would you take McCarthy at 11?
He is either worthy of that pick or not. If there are 3 QBs picked ahead of him, that should make it less exciting.
My point remains, JJ may be OK @11,but I wouldn't be excited. So if Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels were not in the draft, would you take McCarthy at 11?

If this hypothetical trade were to happen, I think I’d be happy with it. Tee Higgins is a #1 wideout and will be cheaper than JJ, and it gives you draft ammo to trade up for a qb and keep first rounders to round out your needs

Careful, you'll be labeled a racist saying that...Kwesi isn't smart enough to pull off a favorable trade.
Did the Falcons not realize that Cousins will be 36 coming off a ruptured achilles heel.Wise move letting Cousins go. $180 million. One playoff win in 6 years. And Cousins had great weapons. Cousins has great agent.
They can’t afford Higgins only because they have a #1 WR eligible for an extension this off-season who has been very open about JJ setting the market for him. They cannot afford to pay Higgins. JJ is looking for a record deal for WR...
Okay I'm glad they didnt bring him back at that cost too, but lets not pretend that somehow it was solely on Cousins that the Vikings only one one playoff game with him at the helm. I would argue it was more the fact that they had a defensive minded coach whose defense couldn't stop anyone in a two minute drill.Wise move letting Cousins go. $180 million. Point still stands why give up all those assets knowing you will lose Chase or JJ cuz you can't keep both. They can’t afford Higgins only because they have a #1 WR eligible for an extension this off-season who has been very open about JJ setting the market for him.
They are going to be looking to trim cap space for Chase next year. The Bengals better make a SB this coming season because it’s going to start getting real hard with Burrow and Chase with massive cap numbers in 2025.
I agree completely. It makes no sense from the Bengals perspective.Point still stands why give up all those assets knowing you will lose Chase or JJ cuz you can't keep both.

I agree he is overpaid, my argument is that it isnt fair to put the 1 playoff win on him. Again glad he is not with the vikes for that contract or anywhere near it. Really hoping they trade up for the draft.Cousins has a career record of 37.1 % wins against teams with winning records in 12 seasons. One can argue that Cousins beats the crappy teams and beefs up his stats against them. Play a winning team and you are most likely to lose. For $180 million I would expect to beat good teams and have more than one career playoff win. Cousins has arguably some of the best receivers in the league. Cousins is a mediocre player getting MVP type money.
Would agree with this for the most part. I think he’s a good QB, with average results. The bottom line is that his salary doesn’t equate to playoff success.
