First step is not exhibiting any symptoms of post concussion injury. There is a specific list of things they are tested for. That prohibition on activities lasts as long as the symptoms last. Then the player is slowly brought along, treadmill, noncontact workouts, then practice and games. As long as symptoms do not return they can progress fairly quickly, a little less than a week.

TJ said yesterdayish he was day to day which might be a good sign that perhaps he was close and just needed a bit more time.

This morning I was more in the 'what's the point of the Big 12 tournament anyway? Just get healthy and leave it out there next week' column but @CycloneErik should they just go ahead and win the whole thing?
