I think if we win today, we take the ship. Knock on wood of course. Wish I could be in KC this year. Everything on twitter looks like this is like a home game vs Baylor. Time to split the series.

We have two more home games this season ;). I want to remain undefeated at home.

UAB. Just saying…
14 seed, actually, but I get your point.

It's debateable, of course, but IMO losing to UAB was actually worse than losing to Hampton. Back in 2001 we limped into the tournament, so it's actually understandable (although not defensible) that we were ripe for an upset like that.

In 2015 we had just won the Big 12 tournament by beating Kansas by coming from behind and were one of the hottest teams in the nation. They didn't have all the metrics back in 2001 (ESPN's BPI, KenPom, etc.) that we have now (and in '15), but I remember we had a 90+% chance to win versus UAB according to ESPN's formula.

Instead the guys come out with frosted tips, Bryce DeJean-Jones (RIP) goes apesh!t in the locker room during halftime and the rest is history...

Have we played the 8PM semi since the last time we played OU? (Spangler layup game)
I just remember that one being a drunken **** storm.. safer if ISU tends to play early games.

I enjoyed seeing Omaha put in some quality minutes. Hopefully he can keep improving and see the floor more. Can always use a 6'8'' frame.

With the coaching staff and players we have, if we get upset this year it would be due to March Madness craziness, not locker room dysfunction or burnout. Last night made me feel better about the second one vs. a week ago.

Still can't hit a 3 to save a bag full of puppies. Hopefully that starts to move towards middle of the season form.
