I haven't looked past the 2 seed today, is ku still looking like they will luck into Omaha as well? That will probably have a big impact on tickets as well.
Very few people have KU in Omaha at this time. KU would have to be a “3” seed to be in Omaha, and that appears doubtful.

When I last looked for ku after their game they had been on the 3/4 line and Illinois hadn't gone on their run yet.

It kind of goes back to pre-pod (which also has been a point of confusion in this thread) ... I think prior to that it was Th/Sat-Fri/Sun both weeks (first & second weekend regional paths were "locked")

I like to tell myself that some of the things that happened to ISU in the early 2000s is the reason why the pod system exists - because the NCAA started using it not long after.

They will be a 1 seed yes, but could UNC jump them in the pecking order? If we can avoid UCONN then that would be a boost.
Why would UNC jump Houston? Because they’re a traditional blue blood? with exception of the NCSOS, Houston is the statically better team - more Q1 wins, better SOS, better losses.

If the committee overvalued what happened tonight, both ways. That's the only reason it could even be a possibility.

Ok, I tried looking (didn't try that hard though). So either we play as a #2 seed in Omaha or get shipped someplace else far from Ames as a #1? I think I would prefer a #2 seed.

Non-ISU random notes - bubble-related
* New Mexico might have gotten at-large, but doesn't have to worry, sealed MWC auto-bid ... so it's a "fringe bid steal."
* NC State still could steal a bid, up on UNC.
* Colorado might be in/close as at-large, Oregon could steal a bid.

I'm not saying I think we get the last 1 seed if NC State wins.

But I'm also rooting for NC State extremely openly right now.

Burns is a phenomenon

Honestly I feel like if ISU is a one seed from that, beating a ~60 net team like ncsu shouldn't change us being over UNC
